The Miners players are expected to put up their defence latest by September or face the wrath of the football association

Ghana Football Association’s prosecutor has charged ten more players of Ashanti Gold for their involvement in the alleged match fixing scandal that took place last season in Ghana Premier League.

Following Ashanti Gold’s 7-0 drubbing of Inter Allies on matchday 34 of the league, several players were summoned to help the investigations.

However, ten more players have been called to provide their defence on September 27 and they include Amos Addai, Amos Kofi Nkrumah, DaCosta Empem, Emmanuel Owusu, Frank Akoto and Mohammed Bailou.

The others are Solomon Afriyie, Stephen Owusu Banahene, Moses Kwame and Eric Esso.

If any of them is found guilty, he will likely face at least a five-year ban from football and its related activities in the country and elsewhere.
