The relegated Premier League outfit shocked the entire football world by presenting players who were not registered for their penultimate game in Ghana’s top-flight

Real Tamale United player Lord Hilary Adabo has denied reports that he took part of the 8-1 annihilating scoreline suffered by his club against Dreams FC in Ghana Premier League at Dawu on Wednesday.

Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored FIVE goals on the day as Dreams moved away from the relegation scare with only a game left to end the season.

However, according to the Adabo, although he has been listed as a goalscorer in the game by the fourth minute, he did not even travel with the team and was in Tamale while the match was ongoing.

He insisted that all registered players of RTU were in Tamale, therefore he doesn’t know which players represented the team in Dawu.

“I am not the player who scored the goal for RTU against Dreams FC today. I am currently in Tamale and I didn’t play any game today,” Lord Hilary Adabo on Promise Radio.

“I’ve seen on social media that I scored a goal but all I can say is that there’s only one Adabo in RTU and I’m in Tamale.

“All registered players of the club that I know we’re in Tamale so I don’t know where they brought those players who represented the club in Dawu. All I can say is that I was not part of the game,” he added.

According to AshesGyamera’s sources, RTU top hierarchy used players from lower division side Galaxy FC to impersonate their players.

Ghana FA top hierarchy is believed to have began investigations into the uncanny behaviour of Real Tamale United and the club could be demoted to third-tier league should they be found guilty.
