Otto Addo drops Fatawu, Razak & co. ahead of Ghana’s double header in 2026 World Cup qualifiers

The Black Stars gaffer has opted not to select the Foxes in-form winger ahead of the international break

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has surprisingly dropped Leicester City star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and named underfire Thomas Partey in his squad to face Chad and Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.

Also, Nations FC defender Razak Simpson has been snubbed following his mistakes against Nigeria in the friendly game in London.

Fatawu has been in a fantastic form in the Championship this season, scoring the winner for the Foxes last weekend against Charlton Athletic but that could not convince the Black Stars boss.
