The Porcupine Warriors boss has shed light on why his side struggled against the debutants in the early embers of the game

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum Narteh has explained why his players struggled despite defeating newcomers Accra Lions 3-1 in Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

Cameroonian striker Etuoga Mbella Frank Thierry gave Kotoko the lead after five minutes and added another through penalty minutes later but Kevin Kyei pulled one back to pill pressure on them.

However, Mbella sealed the win very late in the game with a wonderful finish.

Kotoko, who have a game in hand, now lead the log with 36 points, six points better than Bechem United who sit in second place.
