Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama has rejected suggestions that he dived to win a penalty against
The midfielder was adjudged to have been brought down by Hearts midfielder Nurudeen Mohammed and Mbella Etouga scored the resulting kick.
Although, a lot of concerns have been raise on the penalty, Gama believes it takes only intelligent players to draw such fouls and chances.
“I didn’t dive. I was touched by the player that is why I fell,” Gama said after the game.
“This is what I will say intelligence. The guy touched me and fouls are fouls so it was a penalty,” he added.
Kotoko lead the Premier League log with 52 points, 16 points above Hearts of Oak with ten matches left to end the season.
