Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi successfully began the medical treatment on his injured knee on Wednesday.

The former Ghana shot-stopper at 2013 FIFA World U20 World Cup has been away from Ghana Premier League after he picked up a career-threatening injury while contracted to Hearts but interestingly, he saw his deal with the Phobians terminated and had to fend for himself.

However, some friends and love ones contributed towards his treatment and he successfully went under the knife.

Antwi, who once played for Asante Kotoko and Medeama, is expected to regain fitness and begin recovery training in January of 2025.
