Breaking News: Inaki Williams confirms nationality switch from Spain to Ghana

The midfielder has now completed his nationality switch and will represent the country of his parents

Athletic Bilbao midfielder Inaki Williams has officially completed his nationality switch from Spain to Ghana, AshesGyamera can confirm.

The 28-year-old was born and raised in Spain to Ghanaian parents and was hoping to represent Spain on international stage but could not have an opportunity.

As a result, he has opted to play for Ghana where he qualifies through descent.

Inaki Williams will have the chance to play for Ghana in 2022 Fifa World Cup to be staged in Qatar. The Black Stars have been paired with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H.
