Al Ahly signs Ghana’s George Amoako until 2023

The 22-year-old has sealed a two-year deal with the North African club and was presented to the media on Monday

Al Ahly Benghazi have secured the services of Liberty Professionals FC captain George Amoako ahead of the 2021/22 Libyan top-flight season.

The 22-year-old, who was heavily linked with a move to Medeama, was presented with a two-year contract with an option to extend it with another year after he passed the mandatory medical on Monday.

Last season, Amoako made 21 league appearances in Ghana Premier League and although his side was relegated Inter n final day of the season, his good works did not go unnoticed.

He joins the growing number of players that have fled the country for greener pastures.
