Schemer, who is one of the hardworking foreigners at Old Trafford, is always at the centre of affairs when Manchester United play home games as his services as a senior Steward is key to ensure everyone’s safety especially during this COVID-19 era.

He is also in charge of the safety of senior players and old players of Manchester United before, during and after games on matchdays at the stadium.

Schemer’s friend and Godfather, Kojo Abobonsra, popularly known in the Ghanaian media cycles as Kojo Super Obondede, is a worker of Kumasi-based Light FM and spoke well of his one-time protege.

“I’m overwhelmed to have set sight on one of my brothers once again. His coming back to Ghana brings back memories of yesterday. They are memories of the good times we spent in United Kingdom together,” Super Obondede said.

“I’m elated he has grown into a nice and responsible man and also raising the flag of Ghana high in United Kingdom.

“Many at times, it is always footballers that we get proud of because the cameras are on them but there other Ghanaians doing great works behind the scenes and Schemer is one of them.

“I believe that he will continue with the good works he has been doing and also be a role model to many Ghanaians back home and abroad. This is a guy who has seen almost all the superstars in world football but he is down to earth,” he added.

Schemer’s visit to Ghana ends this weekend as he is expected to vacate the country to United Kingdom next week to continue with his work.
