Ghana midfielder Augustine Okrah scored on his Premier League debut when Simba SC brushed aside Geita Gold 3-0 on opening day of 2022/23 Tanzanian Premier League season.
The 28-year-old was named on the substitute bench but he made the difference when Simba were forced to make a change.
Okrah opened the scoring with a nice free-kick from outside the box by the 36th minute before Moses Phiri added another goal on 61st minute to put Simba in the driving seat.
Okrah then pulled another magic with nine minutes remaining as he raced through the Geita penalty area before he was brought down.
Chama Jnr stepped up to perfectly convert the resulting kick as Simba went on to win the day and go top of the Premier League log.
